#1: The Wii was a video game system designed to combat obesity. Obviously Nintendo hasn't heard of people coming home exhausted after working 12 hours or more at more than one job.
#2: Video game system prices have gone up SUBSTANTIALLY over the past decade. Nintendo and Sony cite all the extra features their systems have as one of the major reasons for this price increase. Obviously somewhere along the line companies producing video game consoles forgot that people buy their systems primarily TO PLAY FUCKING VIDEO GAMES!
#3: Several old style beat'em up side scrolling fighting games (aka Streets of Rage, Final Fight, and such) have yet to be remade and games like them that have been released recently STILL LACK A.I. run companions that can aid a single player in beating the game.
#4: Dungeons and Dragons: Shadows over Mystara hasn't been remade or even released on a handheld console.
#5: The first two Final Fantasy video game to feature beloved characters like Terra, Tifa, and Kefka in over a century were both FIGHTING GAMES! Apparently Square/Enix forgot that Final Fantasy was primarily a RPG genre.
#6: Square/Enix has no current plans to remake Final Fantasy VII for the PS3. In short, they're idiots.
#7: Square/Enix has no current plans to remake Final Fantasy VI for the 3DS. In short, they're morons.
#8: When Square/Enix remade Final Fantasy IV for the DS, it did NOT INCLUDE ANY of the bonus content from Final Fantasy IV Advanced (this included the Cave of Trials and Lunar Ruins dungeons as well as the ability select a party from ALL THE CHARACTERS featured during the course of the game). In short, Square/Enix dumbfucks.
#9: The first .hack video game Bandai was set to release which was "reported" to have Ouka as a playable character did not in fact have Ouka in it at all. It was decided by Bandai to only feature characters from the video games and not from any anime or manga releases. On top of that .hack//Link will be a fighting game (at this point I'm downing scotch here people...LOTS OF IT) AND (oh yes, we're NOT DONE YET) it's going to be made for the PSP (a console system that sucks almost as hard as the NGauge).
#10: Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions was released solely for the PSP. In short, Square/Enix game the proverbial "FINGER" to everyone owning a DS.
#11: Kingdom Hearts almost solely relied on well timed button combos and 75% of the time you only had CLOWN SHOES DOUCHE as a party member you could use (this includes the final dungeon).
#12: Advent Children nearly destroyed Tifa Lockheart's sex appeal. Nuff said.
#13: Bandai has no current plans to make a Final Fantasy RPG-like game from the Naruto: Shippuden franchise. In short, they're beyond stupid.
#14: Naruto: Path of the Ninja 2 was MINDBOGGLINGLY PAINFUL to play. 89% of every character's special moves or even progressing through the game f'ing story required preforming a button combo of some sort or using the DS in some convoluted way.
#15: Shadow the Hedgehog is the video game's way of attempting to an audience with virtually no class. PERIOD. Personally I'm surprised they didn't turn rings into "BLING BLING" in that one.
#16: Almost every Dragon Ball Z RPGish video game was, in fact, actually a Collectible Card Game style video game. Attack of the Saiyans was the only exception and unfortunately it made heavy use of pallet swaps for enemies and bosses and you ended up getting F'ING TIRED of using the same damn moves by the end of the damn game. Lastly, they have YET to bring back the Power Level system that was featured in Legend of the Super Saiyan (which was made for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System).
#17: Taking away Krystal's amazon jungle princess outfit and replacing it with a spandex flight suit was just plain cruel.
#18: While no Belmont or Castlevania video game has yet to occur in the years 1450 A.D. or 1666 A.D. Konami STILL REFUSES to give us back Sonia Belmont. Instead we get some male Belmont time and TIME AGAIN. Oh, and they're focusing currently on ALTERNATE CASTLEVANIA TIMELINES now. Someone kick these idiots in the shines. I would naturally but I've drunk so much damn scotch by the point I'm seeing stars.
#19: Would it KILL Lucas Arts to make a Star Wars RPGish game like Neverwinter Nights for the PS3? If it would, I'll volunteer to pay for the headstone!
#20: I don't know who owns the franchise of Lunar games now (aka Silver Star and Eternal Blue) but I'm personally tired of remakes of Silver Star. Another remake of Eternal Blue MIGHT BE nice but I'd rather had a brand new Lunar (AND NO FUCKING CARD SYSTEM OR "REDEEMING ENEMIES" GOD DAMMIT [fucking Dragon Song]).
